Two important events on the theme of ecology will take place
on April 19 and 20 at the
GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, and the partner of these two events is GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. Planet Earth Association organizes Eco-conference and the award ceremony for the project
The Earth has been lent to us by children. The aim of the Eco-conference is to show an increasing co-dependence of ecology and economy. The following areas will be discussed at the conference: energetics, the influence of IPPC directive on the economy and traffic, and decreasing environmental problems. The second day of the conference is intended for the young and their environmental projects and the project The Earth was lent to us by children, whose patron is
dr. Danilo Türk, the president of the Republic of Slovenia. The president and the other honourable guests will give the awards to the young prizewinners. Alongside with this, there will also be an
Eco bazaar, where Slovenian non-governmental organisations and other institutions will present themselves with their environmental projects and products.
GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre takes part in one other project of the
Planet Earth Association, »
The planet Earth friendly community«. The results of the third Pan-Slovenian competition for this project will be disclosed at the official ceremony within the scope of
Nature-Health Fair (11 October – 14 October 2012), and the winners will be given honorary titles “The planet Earth friendly community 2012.”
